I get to serve people every day. What could be
better than that?
It’s a rare privilege. I worked hard to get this job and I work 365 days a year to keep it.
The last couple of years have been tough for our country. President Bush and others in Washington have made some calls I didn’t always agree with.
But, our commonsense Oklahoma values will prevail. In this time of terrorism, war and uncertainty, we’ve kept the economy strong.
We’ve created nearly five million new jobs. We’ve maintained moral leadership of our country, cut taxes and continue to work as stewards for the American taxpayer.
I work in Washington all week and then race back to Oklahoma on the weekends. Back to my family, back to get your advice on what we can do better.
I work for you, and I’ll never forget it. It takes a lot of hours, but it’s worth it when you love your job.
Thank you,
John
